In close relationship with the Domain Leader, the NbS intern will contribute to develop AXA Climate’s recognition in the Nature field by being involved to consulting missions based on AXA Climate’s transversal expertise. The NbS Consultant will participate to the following activities:

• Act as a junior consultant on missions for nature-based stakeholders: Climate risk screening, Biodiversity analysis, Cost-benefits analysis, insurance feasibility study, impact framework definition etc.

• Contribute to answer expression of Interest and public tenders : identify local partners ; write the first draft and manage the platform submission.

• Participate to commercial pitches and support discussions leading to new cooperations and to the continuous improvement of the consulting offer for Nature.

• Identify new funding mechanisms (grant, loan, others) from public agencies / development bank who have an entity dedicated on Nature. Identify the modalities and requirements, and best use according to project profiles.

• Contribute to share knowledge internally on NbS and promote ecosystem-based adaptation for AXA Climate’s clients.

Experience / Background:

• Top 5 French Business / Engineering school or international equivalent.

• Background in environmental studies is an advantage.

• Ideally already an internship as a consultant

• Strong interest in sustainability and climate adaptation is required.

Languages

• Fluency English is required / French is nice-to-have but not mandatory.
